Your web site should have a form for them to fill out that asks the questions you’d normally ask them on the phone, all the important information that will help you decide if the lead is motivated and qualified.
If a person is not willing to take the time to fill out the form on your web site, how motivated are they? Probably not very motivated. So why waste your time dealing with them on the phone?

Then, with the rest that do fill out the form, their information is e-mailed to you and you can quickly read through their answers and get an idea of whether it’s a lead that’s worthy of your time.
This way you only have to spend your time dealing with the best leads and not the time wasters. Not only do you save time, you save energy. Unmotivated leads will suck the life out of you. They will drain you mentally and emotionally and you won’t have anything left for the good leads.
So if you’re dealing with every single lead on the phone, you’re wasting time and energy. If you’re just getting started and you’re doing that, you’re going to wear yourself out fast and increase your chances of giving up. If you’ve been investing a while and you’re still doing things that way, you’re working harder than you have to and probably getting a fraction of the results you could if you were leveraging your time and energy better.
